I adore these chunky wedge from SM Accessories. Could you really walk in these?
I got a henna…
There isn’t much happening in my life since my last post. Hamy and I just spend time together either in Starbucks or Fully Booked on weekends. We also try to cook at home sometimes. What I am looking forward to is my upcoming birthday next month. We are planning to go out of town to celebrate. We just don’t know where yet. Haha.

I went to i love koi’s bikini fashion show at an upscale club called Prive at the Fort Strip. The drinks were overflowing. I enjoyed that night and I even met some new friends. :)

We spent a night of Holy Week at Jed’s Island Resort and it was such a blast!

We got a deluxe room on the second floor and it was really neat. We had the pool view.

I love trying out shoes at the SM Department Store. These chunky wedges are really nice.

Military chic, anyone?
More pictures on my next post. :)
I just received my May Belle de Jour box in the mail a few days ago and I couldn’t contain my excitement after unboxing the package. I missed the April box because it got sold out really fast. Good thing this month’s beauty box is way much better. :)

This month’s theme is Fun, Fresh and Fierce. I like it.

The products are wrapped in tissue paper and they always include a small card listing all the items inside the box and their actual prices. I think their idea is to let girls try out sample sizes first to decide if they like it before buying full sized items at a retail store. Really cool right?

Surprise! I got Garnier, Maybelline and Ralph Lauren brands.

There are four perfume samples of Ralph Lauren for Women. I used the pink variant right away and I really like its scent. I hope they give out perfume samples again next month.

This is my first time to use Garnier and I was so happy to try the Intense Lightening Scrub on my face. I have also used the facial mask but not the peeling and whitening creams yet. I think I will just give those to my sister.

The only make up I use is a lip balm or a lip gloss but I was also overjoyed with the complete Maybelline make up set that the BDJ team put together. Who knows, maybe I’ll be able to use them soon?
I am so happy with this beauty loot. :) I like the brands that the BDJ beauty ministry features each month and I just hope that every box will be better than the last one. It feels so exciting to wait around for your package, not knowing what’s inside until you get it in your mailbox!
Hamy and I spent a night at Montevista Hotsprings and Conference Resort in Calamba, Laguna over the weekend. This is a much needed vacation after days of working hard. The official check in time is 2pm but we arrived there before 1pm and I was happy because they let us checked in early.

This is a beautiful view of Mt. Makiling in the afternoon.

In front of our deluxe room

The hot spring.

Hamy was still sleeping.
I reserved a deluxe room with a mini pool inside. We liked it very much, it was like our very own, private jacuzzi. The water here flows from Mt. Makiling so it feels warm and soothing to the skin. It was so relaxing.

The place looks like an old, public school and there are four mineral hotspring pools. There’s a pool just outside our room so Hamy and I swam in there before getting some dinner. We enjoyed it very much because there were only a few people that Saturday. The lights were dim in our room which made it a bit romantic. We slept a bit early though. :)

I was able to wear my high waist swimsuit from I love koi. Yey!

Hot spring in summer? Why not?

Having our very own mini pool inside the room is fun!

We also paid a visit to the Rizal Shrine in Calamba before going home. Hamy loves history and I was glad because she really enjoyed our trip there.

We bought some pasalubong - cassava cake, buko pie and some pastillas.. Too bad we did not buy this lambanog though. :)

Till we meet again Laguna!
Two weeks after our out of town getaway, Joshua came and we took him shopping with us.

We took the Hop On Hop Off BGC Bus Tour on impulse and had fun at the MInd Museum.

On a random note, I love this summer outfit that Hamy put together for me. Mango sparkly top, Forever21 mullet skirt, Timex watch, Charles&Keith sandals and Cynthia Rowley eyeglasses.

I also got my first ever BDJ box and I really love the L’OREAL products!

These are just some of the products inside. I got L’OREAL shampoo and conditioner, lip shine, BB cream, sunscreen and some nail art. I’m planning to subscribe every month now.
I’m currently planning our next vacation getaway. So see you next time!
A lot of things had happened in the past year. We lost our puppies and moved on to our new home. Still, I thank God for all the trials that we had overcome because He made us better and stronger. He has bestowed us with countless blessings every time for which I am really grateful.
On a happier note, I love our new home. It is very near the workplace and accessible to everything.

This is our bedroom, A bit messy, isn’t it? :)

Our idea of a weekend date - hanging out at Fully Booked.

I found this pretty Louis Vuitton monogram bag in UKay and it is such a steal. I wish it’s authentic. :)

Meeting one of my favorite bloggers, Camille Co, is one highlight of my 2012.

It’s the official start of our summer 2013! We kicked it off by swimming.
I am also trying out new fashion styles and haircut with the help of my Hamy. :)

I love this outfit that Hamy put together. Mango glittery top, Forever 21 mullet skirt and Christian Siriano boots.

I was also surprised when I was named an Auto Star awardee with dear Mommy Erika. Cheers to us!
I have also tried new hairstyles. I had colored hair, permanent blow dry, permed and boyish cut.

Permed hair with Hamy in the mirror.

My latest hairstyle, perfect for summer! :) And eating.
On a serious note, I have learned that in this life, no matter how hard you try to be good to others, there are really some people who would try to put you down. I just turned my back and moved on with my life. Life is too short and I don’t have time for such nonsense. I just want to enjoy life and make the most out of it.
Done making our dessert. Mango float. Happy Sunday. @tabaching_ching 😍😍😍
I never thought I could learn to love dogs the way I do now. We had a family dog when I was a kid but I was afraid of it. I was even bitten by my aunt’s dog six years ago which scared me even more. Everything changed when a cute, black Labrador puppy named Hachi came into our lives. Sadly, He came and took him from us too soon. I was really sad when I lost the first puppy I have ever loved. Hamy told me that he’ll be in our hearts forever.

Tami came to us when he was just about two months old. At first, he didn’t know us yet so he barked at us and wouldn’t even come near. Then Hamy started to feed him and give him clean water to drink before we leave for work.

Tami is so cute when he was just a small puppy! :)

Tami loves to sleep in our bed and squeezed himself between us.

Tami likes to play and bite anything.

He also loves to sleep. Before sleeping, he will scratch the floor repeatedly and do some rough and tumble with Hamy first. We cal it his daily sleeping ritual.

He loves to sit in front of our electric fan until he falls asleep. I think he likes it because it’s cold. hihi :)

How sweet!

Tami is a very curious puppy. He wants to imitate whatever we do. He will also eat anything as long as he sees us eat it first. Tami loves chocolates, rice and even green mango. I could never hide it whenever I’m eating something. It’s like I have a baby brother all over again! :)
I love Tami so much and I will never leave him whatever happens. I’ll keep him for as long as I can.
It has been a while since I updated this blog. Hamy and I didn’t have the chance to go out of town last summer so I promised myself that I will plan a getaway for us in time for her birthday.
I thank God that we have the same schedule now so it is easy for us to go out on weekends. Most of the time, we just eat out and shop a bit. :)

Two weeks ago, we went to a shoe sale at NBC tent. I got a pair of Ipanema flip flops while hamy bought a neon green Rider slippers at 40% off. Such a deal!

I am also a big fan of Mango now. Hamy helps me pick out some really nice shirts and sweater. Hopefully, I can find a pair of pants and skirts soon. :)

We always get chocolate Belgian waffle for me and banana bread for Hamy whenever we go to Starbucks.

We treated Josh, Marky and Itel to Shakey’s after having flu vaccine. We had pizza, chicken, pasta, mojos and iced teas. Yummy!

Hamy goofing around at the fresh section of the supermarket.

Hamy playing with our cute little puppy Tami.

Tami is a big puppy now and he loves to sleep on my side of the bed beside Hamy.

Hamy and I just celebrated our 5th year anniversary. I hope to spend more time with her and share more adventures together. :)
